SELF-DISCIPLINE
It's nobody's
fault
if you're making mental errors that are hurting the progress of your team or goals. It is solely up to you to be disciplined enough to execute and make sound decisions in the heat of the moment at the precise time. This alone will play a tremendous role in your overall performance.
CONDITIONING
If you're in the game longer than the average player, what your team does for conditioning should never be suitable. Your job is gonna demand more so you have to put in more time to measure-up to the task at hand. It's assured that you will have to hold up to certain expectations or you won't see much action in the long run. It's your fault if you clock-in unprepared and or out-of-shape and not ready to perform. Don't be a bum, get out and get some!
YOUR BODY (CONTROL / MECHANICS)
He who lacks control over the body also lacks control over his or her performance. If you know that you're lacking in certain areas why are you spending the bulk of your time working solely on your strengths? You're working your way out of a job and boxing yourself into a predictable mold. Know your weak points and strengthen them so you can improve on your overall performance and not just one aspect of your game.
CHARACTER
Your moral or ethical qualities weigh heavily on your reputation. This can carry you far in life and not just in the competitive arena. People can easily depend on people with high character to get the job done and to make the right decisions. Questionable character can serve as a deal breaker.
